PBA Galleries to Consolidate Auction Services
The volume of books handled at PBA Galleries has increased significantly and as a result PBA Galleries has consolidated its activities. Lower-priced books formerly sold through 17 -day ongoing web auctions will now be available in lots in the bi-monthly gallery auctions. Dealers and collectors can now more efficiently buy group lots of individually listed titles, collections in defined subject areas, and shelf lots of uncatalogued books in quantities of twenty to thirty at a time, sold at the end of the gallery auctions. All books will be sold through the gallery auction process where bidders can either attend the auction in San Francisco, bid by phone, fax, e-mail or using Real Time Bidder where they can view the auction and bid remotely from their computer. Fully-illustrated catalogues are always viewable at the website.
Our final online auction closed on Monday, April 25.
