Description:
Ed. & illus. by George W. Beldam, incl. action photos. Later cloth, morocco spine label. First Edition.
|
Condition:
Donovan & Murdoch 37200; Murdoch 785 - Murdoch writes, "If any two golfers knew the secret of putting, we are led to believe, these two men did because they are still remembered as being among the best." Travis was an early American champion who won the 1904 British Open primarily by excellent putting, and White was the first golfer to return a 72-hole medal score lower that 300 in the British Open Championship. A bit of text removal from first preface page, else near fine.
