Description:
Boards, spine lettered in gilt, jacket. First Edition.
Signed by Brautigan on the title-page. Brautigan signatures in his books are scarce; he rarely went to book signings, and in the words of George Fox, "the only way, really, to get him to sign a book was to buy him a drink at Enrico's." Brautigan committed suicide in 1984. This copy formerly belonged to John R. Firestone, with his circular blindstamps on the front flyleaf, title-page, and half-title.
Condition:
Remainder rubberstamp on bottom page edges, else fine in fine jacket.
