Bound volume for 1931. Illustrated from photographs, cartoons, ads, etc. throughout (some ads in full-color). 13x9½, green cloth, gilt-lettered leather spine label.
Contains many fine golfing articles, including: The Benefit of "Warming-Up" Shots and other articles by Charles ["Chick"] Evans, Jr.; The Most Distinguished Club in America by G.B. Arthur; The Camera Takes the Place of the Gallery for Bobby Jones by O.B. Keeler; Settling Back for the Down-Swing by Kell Greene; Around Little Old New York by H.B. Martin, and others. Numerous other articles and stories regarding golf throughout the world, highlighted with photographs showing courses from San Francisco to Bermuda.
Condition:
Mildew wear to rear cover, spine label lightly chipped and rubbed, some shelf wear and soiling; dampstaining to lower inside corner throughout, moisture wear to rear third of pages of book; still good to about very good with bright illustrations.
