Inscribed and signed by Toni Morrison on the front free endpaper: "To Sam from your neighbor, Toni." The first British edition of the Pulitzer Prize winning author's first novel, originally published by Holt, Rinehart & Winston in 1970. Publisher's original review slip, laid in.
Condition:
Slight edge wear and rubbing, faint foxing (chiefly on verso); minor edge wear to volume; about fine in like jacket - seldom seen in better condition.
