Adams was a prolific golf author and murder mystery author, often combining the two. "Members of the Barrington Golf Club were assured the enjoyment of its golf course and the tranquil company of similar fellows in the card rooms...[but] was shattered by an ugly quarrel between two members" and resulting in a murder - Taylor, The Golf Murders, pp.29-30; Donovan & Murdoch 4970.
Condition:
Spine faded, scattered stains, thin red ink spot to foot of spine, soiling, shelf wear; rear hinge tender, a few page edges a bit worn (including folds), signature of Lloyd Biggs on the front pastedown; about very good and scarce.
