Description:
On 12¼x8¼" blue-green paper.
Hand-written in metallic-silver ink: “Charles Bukowski, 3-12-65. French Quarter, N.O., LA. They’ve all been here – Whitman, S. Anderson, Faulkner, Hem., Tenn Williams – I wonder how far I can follow them? Some of my critics say not very far. Well, sometimes a good beer is more real than immortality and my critics – they aren’t going anywhere either.” Signed “B.” Written while visiting Jon and Lou Webb.
