| Contains 45 black and white gelatin silver-print photographs, all of Charles Bukowski at one of his home’s during the 1960’s, (one shows him reading The Outsider Magazine by the Loujon Press); several marked with codes on the versos. Most of these were used in The Outsider Magazine. Measuring from 4x2½" to 5x4". Also, with negative strips containing 16 images of Bukowski; plus two other larger negatives. |
| Early images of Buk at his home, including scenes at his typewriter, drinking, smoking, and other various poses, mostly close-up. According to Ed Blair, thje photos "were taken in some cases by Sam Cherry who is Neeli Cherkovski's dad. I think they were probably taken at Buk's apt on North Mariposa in LA around 1962-63." Neeli is the author of the first Bukowski biography. |
