| Signed by Ginsberg on the title page, but with a disclaimer note: “This isn’t mine, it’s J.B.’s version, Allen Ginsberg, N.O., LA.” According to Edwin Blair, this is one of only 18 copies prepared for a projected project which never occurred. Includes a 10-page pictorial program booklet (9¾x6") for Kaddish “Based on a poem by Allen Ginsberg, directed by Robert Kalfin, performed at The Chelsea Theater Center of Brooklyn, circa 1971; mimeographed sheet (9x6") “Additional Notes” for the Chelsea production of Kaddish; and a 1983 invoice from Serendipity Books for this item, selling for $675 to Ed Blair, with penciled note “14-18 copies according to Dowden,” all laid in. |
