| 2 volumes. xii, 304 + 16 ad; viii, 299 + [1], 24 ad pp. With color lithographed frontispiece in each volume. 7¾x4¾, original blindstamped tan cloth with gilt vignette of a moose on front covers, spines lettered in gilt, bright blue endpapers. First Edition. |
| Bruns notes "much about fishing in both volumes. Hardy was a fly fisherman." He calls the book rare, and while the copy he describes was rebound in half morocco, he admits a copy in the original cloth would be worth more. The color lithographed frontispieces are quite rare. Bruns H 71. |
