The first book by the founding editor and then publisher of Esquire Magazine, who edited and accepted works by writers like Ernest Hemingway, F. Scott Fitzgerald, and Vladimir Nabokov. Contains a F. Scott Fitzgerald review quote to back of jacket.
Condition:
Small chips and creases to jacket edges, scattered darkening, soiling, a few tears (including a 1½" tear on rear panel); some foxing and fading to volume; Angling bookplate of Jeffrey Norton; else very good; jacket about very good.
