Author's scarce first novel. With two copies of the first issue jacket (a single paragraph on Updike on the rear flap). * Also, with: Ego and Art in Walt Whitman. Cloth-backed decorative boards. 1 of 350, signed by Updike. Targ Editions, 1980. Together, 2 volumes.
Condition:
A few short tears to jackets, one with light dampstains, other with small chips to spine ends (head with white paper tape repair to verso), book near fine with very good jackets; the signed limited book is fine.
