Complete set of 52 cards, plus a joker, a card with a map of the route to the Nome Gold Fields, and a card printed on both sides with tables of distances; two-part slipcase, the outer box of which is lettered in gilt on one side "The White Pass and Yukon Route Souvenir Cards", with a card showing its color pictorial back mounted on the other. 3¾x2¾x¾".

Playing cards commemorating the "Scenic Railway of the World," with photographs of the scenic wonders of Alaska, the rail lines and bridges, railroad cars, towns and stopovers, majestic mountains, etc. On the back of the cards is a design in red, white and blue with depiction of a train crossing a bridge through the mountains. The edges of the cards are gilded. Another set we have handled contained an additional card, not present here, which was printed on both sides with description of the route.
