Scarce WWI Handbook of Aircraft Armament in original binding, marked "Confidential" on the front cover. Foldout diagrams include "Louis Machine Gun 30 Airplane Model 1918 (in color)," "Diagram C.C. Gear," and "American C.C. Gear." Laid in is a sheet printed on both sides, titled: "The Sopwith Kauper Gun Gear. Type No. 3," ink-stamped "secret" at the top corner. "Information Office - Rockwell Field, Coronado, California" is stamped on the front pastedown. With the ownership signature of Lt. J.P. Richter, Rockwell Field on page at front where the book is stamped No. 651, with instructions for the owner to keep the contents strictly confidential.
