Teller responds to a correspondent in response to a proposal, and offering: "I believe that a very small colony on the moon would be justified for some reasons, including pure science." Edward Teller was a Hungarian-born American theoretical physicist, known colloquially as "the father of the hydrogen bomb", even though he claimed he did not care for the title.
