Actual copper plate with etched image of a horse heading forward at the viewer, a few Indians on horseback in the background. Engraved signature at bottom, Edward Borein. 8x10.

The actual metal copper plate for a Borein etching, though his signature is not in reverse. The image is not located in John Galvin's The Etchings of Edward Borein.

Condition:

Some tarnishing to plate, very good.
