Description:

13 leaves including title/cover, chromolithographed on rectos with depictions of numerous exotic animals, with descriptions on versos of animals on following leaf. 7x11, tied with string.

Issued as a promotional piece for Arbuckle Brothers Coffee, with text on final leaf extolling the virtues of the drink, including the declaration that "Among the first uses Coffee was put to, was to keep Mohammedans awake during their prolonged religious services."

Condition:

Cover leaf with chips at left edge, very good.
