Texts by Will Grohmann and Antoine Tudal. With an Appreciation by Rebecca West. Illustrated with a color lithograph, plus heliogravures and other reproductions. 14x10½, original illustrated boards designed by Braque. First American Edition.

Reproduces the sketchbooks of cubist, Georges Braque, who authorized these sketches to be reproduced for the first time. The French edition was Verve Nos. 31/32.

Condition:

Backstrip split and loose on one side, spine tips chipped, corners worn, rear cover lightly soiled; front hinge cracked; a few plate corners slightly crimped, otherwise very good.
