23 pp. 9¼x7, original vellum stamped with gilt arms on both boards, all edges gilt, marbled endpapers. Armorial binding with elaborate gilt arms of George II as Prince of Wales. Bookplate of Auchincruive, estate of Richard Oswald, on front pastedown. Oswald was a successful businessman who lived in the American colonies and represented the British at the Paris peace talks.
