Signed at the end of Author's Foreword; additionally, inscribed and signed to Alexander & Mary McAdie from Harris Stearns Allen...Virginia" on the blank preliminary leaf. Also, with a 10-line holograph poem hand-written by Harris Allen in back on leaf with printed caption "For Your Trail of Beauty" after colophon. First three lines in black ink, rest in blue.
