2 volumes in 1. Chromolithograph frontispiece and 60 steel engraved plates after original sketches by Commodore Robert Elliot; 2 engraved title pages. (4to) 10¾x8¼, early half red morocco and marbled boards, spine gilt decorated, all edges gilt.

Plates drawn by Prout, Stanfield, Cattermole, Purser, Cox, Austen, & others after original sketches by Commodore Robert Elliot.

Condition:

Lower third of spine partially detached, binding detached along front hinge and nearly so along rear; dampstain to plates, mostly confined to margins but extending briefly into image on several; else good.
