Inscribed presentation copy, signed by Hellman to Walter Kohler, who played the Grand Hotel manager in the 1944 play that opened at the Fulton Theatre and also starred Montgomery Clift. Signed in New York, October 1944.

Condition:

Jacket darkened, large chips (chiefly to top rear panel), soiling, dampstains on jacket verso and to cloth margins; shelf wear; offsetting to preliminary leaves, generally very good, jacket fair to good.
