With folding frontispiece from the first draft manuscript (not included for the trade edition). Half blue cloth and metallic paper over boards with plane vignette on front cover in blue, spine lettered in silver, top edge silver. No. 151 of 310 copies, 10 of which were not for sale. First Edition, limited issue.

Signed by Faulkner in the colophon / limitation. Faulkner's aviation novel and the basis for the 1958 film The Tarnished Angels starring Robert Stack and Rock Hudson. Rare slipcase not present. Petersen A16c.

Condition:

Spine faded, light rubbing, a few nicks (chiefly at edges); faint offsetting to endpapers; else very good.
