Volume I with a presentation leaf at beginning which reads, "Presented to the San Francisco Architectural Club, by the Eighteen Club of Toronto, on the occasion of the destruction of their library in the disaster of 1906." Both with the embossed stamp of the San Francisco Architectural Club on the bottom of title page. Property of the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art, Northern California Chapter, sold for the benefit of this organization.
Condition:
Rubbed edges, bumped corners, spine of Vol. 2 detached, and part of it laid in (not complete), spine of Vol. 1 detached at front joint (still present in full); rubberstamp on blank preliminary leaf of SF Architectural Club, plus their bookplate in Vol. 2; light finger smudges to versos and margins of contents; very good.
