Signed and inscribed by Pendleton on the front inside cover "To my very good friend and fellow golfer, Col. C.D. McAllester, with best wishes & warmest personal regards, Alex Pendleton, Author Copy." Also, the author's business card with Washington DC address and inked notes on front and back (by unknown hand), laid in. Unrecorded edition, see Donovan & Murdoch 28810 (citing the 1941 first edition).

Condition:

Fading to spine, light edge wear, other minor wear; still near fine.
