132 pp. With 68 maps printed in color (17 are double page) plus insets; 8 plates printed in color showing flags of the world, the principal high buildings of the world, the solar system, graphs and map charts; 8 full-page wood-engraved plates; plus a pictorially engraved title page. (Folio) 13¾x11½, original gilt-decorated and lettered dark brown cloth.

The double-page maps include: The World; United States; New York; Pennsylvania; New Jersey; Texas; Montana; California; Europe; China; Africa; South and South America; Asia; plus various railroad maps. Phillips Atlases 912.

Condition:

Cloth rubbed, edges worn; binding shaken, occasional marginal tears and finger-soiling, a few tiny stains, two double-page maps loosely laid in towards the rear, plus other light wear; else good overall.
