Civil War era atlas primarily devoted to the United States and her territories, with interesting maps of the Northwest (including Idaho and a portion of Montana), California with an inset of the settlements around the Great Salt Lake; Nebraska and Colorado are relatively modern, but Wyoming is undefined; the map of Texas contains an inset of Galveston Bay & Vicinity. Only 84 maps are listed, but there is an additional, unlisted map of Palestine with inset of Jerusalem.
