Fleming is the author of the important "Historical Notes and Extracts concerning the Links of St. Andrews, 1552-1893," an elusive and detailed history on the Royal and Ancient Club. Also, includes: a tipped-in folding New Year's greeting card on front prelim. page with printed good wishes from Mr. & Mrs. Hay Fleming, dated Dec. 30, 1905 and holograph note on blank page "Mrs. D.H. Spine a bit faded, joints and extremities lightly rubbed, small fading spot on front cover; front hinge cracked, occasional faint foxing; still very good - scarce!
