71 pp. Illustrated from paintings, including many in color. (Oblong 4to) 9½x12¼, gilt-lettered green cloth, color pictorial cover label, gilt-lettered cloth slipcase with color pictorial cover label. No. 420 of 750 hand-numbered copies. First Edition.

Signed by authors Stirk and Henderson on the half-title page. Considered by many to be the single most important reference work on the game including clubs, balls, art, books and related ephemera. Includes a related photocopied article, laid in. Donovan & Murdoch 55890.

Condition:

Light wear to slipcase; otherwise in fine condition.
