Second state with the line "Published, July, 1904" added below the copyright notice on verso of title page; illustration on dedication page has been considerably reduced with the box measuring 5-3/8" tall; illustrations on pp. [22] & [27] and tailpieces on pp. 82 & 158 are all transposed back into their intended places.
