Title and 2-page preface in typographic borders, all the other pages with elaborate woodcut borders depicting four biblical figures each, a skull and running prayer. (8vo) 5½x3½, old calf.

Very nice example of English printing in the 16th century, the elaborate borders are well varied. Sold with a turn-of-the-century facsimile edition of John Daye's similar 1577 printing. This copy with early ownership inscription, "Sarah Harding Her Book" on T5-T6. Very Rare.
