viii, 296 + [16] ad pp. Translated by Leonora Schultze. Revised by Dr. Karl Russ. Illustrated with 8 wood-engraved plates printed in colors; plus 2 wood-engraved figures. 7¾x5, gilt-decorated red cloth, lettered in gilt.

Early manual on parrots, cockatoos, macaws, parakeets, etc., with handsome color full-page plates. The ads in the back are printed on a later and smaller paper.

Condition:

Spine a bit faded, spine ends bumped; front hinge cracked, tissue-guard with tears; still very good - plates are clean and bright.
