Introduction by Francis Phillimore. "Hints to Dickens Collectors" by John F. Dexter. The auction had been held by Messrs Christie, Manson & Woods. Title printed in red and black. 11x8½, period blind-stamped light blue cloth, spine gilt lettered.

Provenance: From the Library of Arthur M. Ellis.

Condition:

Light toning to cloth, small scrape to back cover; mariginal closed tears to B2. Overall in very fine condition and mostly unopened.
