Description:
Three albumen photographs of close-up details of a decoratively carved wooden ornamentation on a wall in Notre Dame. The photographs are unmounted, each approx. 8½x7¼. One with rubberstamp on the reverse, "E. Atget, Rue Campagne-Premiere, 17 bis." On the back of each photograph Atget has written in pencil, "Notre Dame (Stalle)" with a number, in these instances 5073, 5074 and 5076. These images were likely used by Atget in a sample book, which he used to market his photographs, customers being able to order additional prints of the images.

Moderate fading to one of the images, another with slight fading at the edges, 1 tiny tear at a corner, else near fine.
