Thomas Shea, as a moody Napoleon, inscribed "Thomas E. Shea as `Napoleon the Great' with best wishes and remembrances to his friend C.W. Brice, Sept. 8 - 11." Besides starring in "Napoleon the Great," Shea had leading theatrical roles in "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" and other plays, directed the 1914 movie "The Man O'Warsman", etc.
