William Few. 1748-1828. Signer of the United States Constitution from Georgia. William Few served in the American Revolution as colonel and distinguished himself in several actions. He was a delegate from Georgia to the Continental Congress and a delegate to the convention that framed the U.S. Constitution in 1878. In July, 1799, he moved to New York and was elected to the state legislature from 1802 to 1805.
