Inscribed and signed by Zane Grey on the front free endpaper to his son "Romer, who rode the scenes of this book with me in 1918 & 1920, from his dad, Zane Grey," dated Jan. 20, 1922. With Harper's code "M-V" on copyright page (the first printing requires code leters "K-V").

Short tears and creases to jacket extremities, large tear and creases to lower rear joint and rear panel area, tape repairs to verso, 1" scuff to middle rear panel and ΒΌ" scuff to upper front panel; soiling and shelf wear to volume, top page edge dusty, binding a bit shaken, else very good in about very good jacket.
