336 pp. 7x4½, brownish cloth, spine lettered in gilt. First Edition.

Inscribed and signed from "the author" on the front free endpaper. Memoirs of Esther Reed, the wife of Joseph Reed who was a soldier in the Revolutionary War and was Washington's Secretary and friend during the same era.

Condition:

Chipping and tears to somewhat leaning spine, light rubbing, corners bumped; lower corner of front free endpaper torn off, occasional faint foxing; about very good.
