Signed on the front endpaper by the 15 survivors of one of the most memorable plane crashes of all times, when the survivors were compelled to eat the bodies of their dead companions for food. With a letter from a Lippincott executive, stating that "the survivors of the Andes crash, have autographed a small number of copies of ALIVE, and we would like you to have one."

Condition:

A bit of extremity rubbing to the jacket; very faint stain to top of front cover, else near fine.
