Extremely detailed atlas of a portion of Philadelphia with hand-colored maps including a section of the William Cramp & Son’s Ship & Engine Building Company near the Delaware River, where America's first modern battleship, the BB-1 Indiana, was built in 1891-1893. Publisher's rubberstamp to title-page "Removed to 1039 Walnut St." and original cloth hinges.

Covers soiled with some fading, circle dampstains to lower front cover, extremities rubbed; binding shaken, rear endpapers soiled with some black spotting, front free endpaper creased with short tears, occasional fingering to margins, map images fine, else about very good.
