xii, 651 pp. Illustrated with 23 maps (2 are folding), 17 plates from photos & engravings, 1 text illustration. 8¾x5½, rebound in quarter modern brown leather & cloth, spine lettered in gilt, new endpapers; bound by John Sinkankas with his gilt initials to lower front cover. First Edition.

The Cunningham Diary is here published here for the first time. Errata slip tipped in at page 618. Original gilt-lettered cloth spine strip laid in. Bookplate from the library of John Sinkankas to front pastedown.

Condition:

A fine modern rebinding; occasional faint foxing, one folding map with paper tape repairs to verso, else very good.
