(11x7¾"), early calf with elaborate blindstamped design, rebacked with later (but not too recent) pigskin, metal clasps.
Rare, early polyglot printing of the Psalms, translated and compiled by Johann Potken, with "Io. Potken peregrinarum literar[um] studiosis" on l.148r. The final 4 leaves comprise "Introductiunculae in tres linguas externas, Hebraeam, Graecam, Chaldaeam." Above the title age of the Psalter is written in ink, in an early hand, "Cartusiae Buxiensis," with small inkstamp of Bibl. Buxhein in the lower margin of the second leaf recto. In the lower margin of the title-page, in a neat early hand: "Contenta Psalteriu 4r linguax Rolaxiu Theologie in Senterias." The second work, the Rosarium theologiae sententiarum quadripertitum quadripartitum of Pelbartus de Themeswar, is even rare than the first. A very desrible combination of early works.
Condition:
Old repairs to top corners of the covers; minor worming to early and latter leaves; a very nice copy, contents fresh and quite clean, on fine, thick paper.
