32 pp. With blank interleaves, several with neat period ink stage directions. 16x9.5 cm (6¼x3¾"), full red morocco, with thick elaborate gilt border on covers, re-backed with later red morocco, with original gilt-decorated and lettered spine laid down, feather plume gilt vignette on covers, all edges gilt, gilt dentelles, silk moire endpapers. Bound by Nutt, Cambridge.

With an hand-written leaf at front that reads in black with decorative blue, gilt and red initials, "Presented to His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales by the Authors." With the engraved armorial bookplate of The Prince of Wales Library on front pastedown. Presented to Albert Edward or "Bertie", who was the Prince of Wales for 60 years. Plus a gilt-lettered leather label reading the name Charles Posey on the blank leaf before the hand-lettered presentation leaf. A beautiful binding from the library of the Prince of Wales. Many of the blank interleaves with stage directions written neatly in period hand.
