(Folio) 30x21.5 cm (11¾x8½") period full brown calf, spines lettered in gilt, raised bands, each volume separately housed in a full brown morocco solander case, felt-lined, spines lettered in gilt. One of 5 (possibly 6) copies printed on pure vellum, this copy not numbered.

The fourth title in the De La More Press Folios series published by Alexander Morning. Part of the King's Classics Under the General Editorship of Professor Israel Gollancz. One of only a very small number of copies printed on vellum, the limitation calling for five such copies though the present set is not numbered and may represent a sixth, out-of-series, copy. The fine full calf bindings are not stamped with the binder's name but the custom cases were crafted by Donnelley of Chicago and bear the binder's gilt stamp. Provenance: From the library of Dr. Elmer Belt with the "House of Belt" bookplate in each volume.
