Rare map that includes some details of the California gold region, plus the coast from Mendocino to Umpqua River, inland to the Sierra Nevada, with Mount Shasta, Lassen's Butte, Crescent City, etc. Shows the Emigrant Trail. OCLC/WorldCat lists four copies in Institutional Libraries, and Warren Heckrotte enumerates seven copies in both public and private hands.
