Lithographed map. 56.5x84 cm (22¼x33"), mounted on linen backing.

Plan of the city on Benicia on the Carquinez Strait, which served as the state capital of California for nearly thirteen months from 1853 to 1854. Formerly in the Bancroft Library, with inkstamps on verso and a few discrete ones on recto; withdrawn stamp in upper margin.

Invoices are sent out the day following the auction and include a $10 handling fee plus actual shipping and insurance charges.
