Description:

Single sheet folding to 8 panels on each side, with connecting lines and train schedules on one side, a map on the other, of the eastern United States, titled "Map of the Erie Railway and connecting lines." Overall 31x25.8 cm (12¼x10¼"), folding to 13x8 cm (5¼x3").

Rare railway map with schedule. OCLC/WorldCat lists only two examples, from 1864 (as this one) and 1866, but the 1864 issue is for December, whereas the present one is from June.
