313, [1], 71 pp. Advertisements on endpapers and on several inserted leaves. (8vo) 23x14.5 cm (9x5¾"), original brown cloth with gilt design and lettering, outer cardboard protective case from a California state library. 

"Embracing a full alphabetical record of the names of the inhabitants of the city of Dayton Ohio, a business directory, United States Post Office Directory, etc." A previous owner's burial requests are written in pencil on the verso of the title page.

Condition:
Wear and soiling to cloth, rubbing to extremities, some cloth worn away at top of front cover and head and heel of spine, darkened area at head of spine where library label was; hinges cracked, title page and front flyleaf detached, foxing throughout; good.

We are specialists at packing and shipping books and works on paper.   All lots purchased by the same client are combined for shipping in order to keep the cost as economical as possible.  Our preferred method for domestic shipments is UPS Ground but we can also ship via FedEx or USPS.  For international orders we select the most appropriate carrier depending on the value and weight of the items purchased.  We are happy to accommodate special arrangements by request.

Invoices are sent out the day following the auction and include a $10 handling fee plus actual shipping and insurance charges.
