108 pp. With 14 full page and 2 double page maps, hand-colored; smaller maps in the text, numerous cuts. (4to) 32.5x27 cm (12¾x10½"), original quarter leather & cloth, front cover lettered in gilt "Descriptive Atlas of the Pacific States."

Published as a companion of  Bancroft's "Outline Map of the Pacific States. Designed to accompany Clarke's series of geographies." The work concentrates on the western states and territories. The maps include "Map of the Southern Pacific States" (double-page, with California, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Arizona and New Mexico); "Bancroft's Map of Seventy Miles Around San Francisco"; "Map of the Northern Pacific States" (double-page, with Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and Dakota); New England, the Middle States, the Lake States, etc.

We have a full service shipping department to ensure proper packing and safe delivery of purchases at reasonable cost. We are specialists at packing and shipping books and works on paper.   All lots purchased by the same client are combined for shipping in order to keep the cost as economical as possible.  Our preferred method for domestic shipments is UPS Ground but we can also ship via FedEx or USPS.  For international orders we select the most appropriate carrier depending on the value and weight of the items purchased.  We are happy to accommodate special arrangements by request.

Invoices are sent out the day following the auction and include a $10 handling fee plus actual shipping and insurance charges.
