Issued by the United States Coast and Geodetic Survey. This third edition leaves out the list of maps and authorities that appeared in the second edition. This edition also does not include maps as did the second edition. The introduction identifies Henry E. Nichols, U.S.N. as the compiler of this edition. The coastal views are listed in Index under views.
